10 things i learned over the weekend.

1. there is a firework comparable to each of the three grenades (flash, stun, smoke) in call of duty 4.
2. bottle rocket war = lame
3. roman candle war = fun
4. phantom missile war = more fun
5. after a couple doses of lsd one starts to discover alternative, sustainable energy sources. examples coming soon.
6. tom smokes weed.
7. no matter where i’m at in the future i need to be by water.
8. i’m turning into something that sixteen year old me would want to beat up, and it’s a good thing.
9. even though 2girls1cup is about a year old now, it’s still funny to watch the reactions of the people that watch it.
10. my wanderlust will never go away.

unlike everyone else i know, i’ve never fallen into the trap that is world of warcraft. other than flash games to cure a few minutes of boredom i really haven’t played any games on my computer in years. but all of that will soon change.

back in the late 90’s and first couple years of the 2000’s i used to play diablo and diablo 2 religiously. most of my friends played, my brother played, and brother-in-law played. we’d all get together in my brother-in-laws coffee shop and sit together for hours completing quests, gathering items, and just roaming around killing things for the fun of it.

it appears now that my life will again lose a couple years due to diablo 3.
